Role Summary

Rainbow is looking for a Processing Manager to join their team in the Western Cape. The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing the Chicken Processing plant in Worcester.

Job Description

Role Purpose:

To manage the processing plant ensuring maximum efficiency whilst maintaining compliance with legislation, customer specifications and Company standards and processes.

Qualification and Experience:
• A Diploma/ Degree in Production Management/Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably in a unionized food processing plant with 2 years in a management position.
• An abattoir hygiene or meat inspection qualification would be preferable.
• Poultry processing experience would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of TQMS systems would be preferable.
• Have a valid code B/EB (Code 08) driver’s license with access to his/her own transport.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
• Clear Criminal record.
