Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our client-growing team. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes for a large volume of employees across multiple provinces and in the United States. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with Dayforce, experience working in a unionized environment and managing payroll for 1500+ employees.

Responsibilities:

1. Process payroll accurately and timely for a high volume of employees across multiple provinces and in the United States.

2. Utilize Dayforce software to input and maintain employee payroll information, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and deductions.

3. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.

4. Reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.

5. Generate payroll reports and provide detailed analysis to management as needed.
