ACTIVE FOUNDRY: Manufacture and distribution of stainless steel, cast steel, low alloy steel & spheroidal graphite iron castings including associated products, components, wear parts and ground engaging tools for the valve, petro-chemical, power, construction and mining industries of Southern Africa.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Create / update a suitable maintenance schedule.
• Perform system maintenance according to maintenance schedule. Must be able to establish, implement and modify predictive and preventative maintenance scheduling systems.
• Conduct diagnostic testing on systems that malfunctions to determine the root cause of the malfunction.
• Trouble shooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Replace defective and/or damaged components as needed.
• Determine the specifications of the components to be constructed by analysing the blueprints for mechanical systems.
