ABOUT THE JOB

As an Engineer Manager, you will be accountable for the leadership of one or more engineering scrum teams to plan, deliver and support service features that deliver customer value and/or mature service capability. The position is also accountable for executing the people leader fundamentals in line with NAB Policies, driving a learning-based culture with an ability to set and gain agreement for realistic and stretching objectives for the team.

You'll lead the effort to translate existing legacy microservices into a cohesive architecture, developing a detailed plan to transition them seamlessly while aligning and contributing to NAB Microservices Taxonomy.

Your role extends to guiding project teams in developing business features within the appropriate microservices, thereby preventing the proliferation of unnecessary services, and promoting architectural consistency across the organisation.
