The primary purpose of this position, Electrical Equipment Repair Leader, WL-2854-11, is to lead electrical mechanics in performing depot level installing, modifying, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complete avionics operational systems and instrument devices which require knowledge of a wide range of electrical and mechanical principles/practices Responsibilities -Coordinate work assignments. -Overhaul, modify, troubleshoot, repair, and verify parts, subassembly or component failure of electrical items and equipment. -Read and study technical orders and approved technical data as manufacturer's manuals, specifications, prints, and schematics. -Use a wide variety of test equipment while performing repair and overhaul tasks. -Maintain records and documents actions.
