Senior Engineer, Network Operations Support – Spare Parts Management

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Infrastructure Support the position holder will be responsible for:
- Initiation of timely dimensioning, purchase, repair, replacement, and delivery of the Safaricom network spare parts to the warehouse and pick-up & drop-off depots.
- Proactive identification and re-use of decommissioned and recovered equipment as network spare parts.
- Management & control of the movement of all spare parts within the Safaricom network in coordination with spare parts management Vendor, Supply Chain Management and Logistics teams.
- Maintenance of spare parts inventory stock list as required by various teams across the Safaricom network.
- Enforcement of Service Level Agreements for the Spare parts Management Contract.
- Warranty administration & tracking of all Safaricom network spare parts.
