JOB TITLE: PYP Hub (Classroom) Teacher DEPT: Elementary School

JOB PURPOSE

Elementary School educators work together in flexible learning environments to support the learning needs of all students within a grade. All students are supported by all educators in a grade level to help them make maximum progress at their own pace. Our primary mode of instruction is inquiry and we continuously revise and develop our Units of Inquiry to ensure that our students are engaged and passionate in their learning experiences. The classroom teacher is a child advocate who knows each student’s strengths and area of development intimately and works to help each child grow in the social, emotional and academic realm. The teacher is an expert in data collection and uses findings to inform instruction and ensure that each child meets and/or exceeds their potential.
