Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Doctor at Maareeye Medical Centre located in Mogadishu. The Medical Doctor will examine and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions and refer them to the appropriate specialists for further diagnosis and treatment. The Medical Doctor will also communicate with patients and their families to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and potential outcomes and educate them about preventive healthcare practices.

Qualifications
• Medical degree (MD or MBBS)
• Valid license to practice medicine in Somalia
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development
• Experience in emergency medicine or critical care is a plus
• Fluency in Somali, English and Arabic languages is required
