POSITION: Mid- to Senior level IT field support technician / engineer

AREA: Edenvale

Our well-established client is looking for a mid to senior level IT Field Support Technician/Engineer.

Requirement

· Skilled mid to senior level field support technician

· At least 5 years’ experience of working in desktop support, Windows Server Support and Physical Network Installation and support

· Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, VMWare, FortiGate / Fortinet certifications an advantage

Skills Required

· Windows Desktop Support (7, 8, 10, 11)

· Windows Server support (Server 2008 to current version)

· Exchange Server support (2010 to current version)

· Firewall management – Configuration and support

· Understanding of Network Cabling, Routing, Switching VLANs, Wi-Fi

· Basic SQL support advantageous

· VM Ware / Hyper-V – Basic support advantageous
