Job Purpose:

To develop, implement and manage sourcing strategies in line with Saint Gobain strategy to drive down cost without the jeopardy of quality and to strategically lead category management initiatives, procurement transaction and operational activities and deliver on sourcing saving targets and process improvements targets.

Qualifications required to fulfil the role:
• HND/BCom Degree in Supply Chain or Purchasing/Procurement.

Specific Skills and Experience:
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a strategic sourcing or procurement related role
• Experience managing both local and foreign suppliers.
• Experience in forecasting, demand planning and execution is critical.

Key Responsibilities:
• Formal & informal meetings with senior management to help execute strategic objectives for Saint Gobain.
