MECHANCIAL DESIGN ENIGNEER - DORCHESTER, DORSET (ONSITE) - PERMANENT

Salary around £50k-£55k
• Very flexible working hours - 4 day working week (mon-thurs) encouraged*

In this role you’ll work in a small design team of friendly and personable Engineers who design products for the Maritime and Defence industries.

You’ll need to be eligible for SC / Security Clearance although you can start the role without it.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare technical proposals and quotations.
• Develop designs into a production ready product that meets the requirement specification. Liaise with internal stakeholders and ensure that the Engineering process is adhered to.
• Check drawings, CAD models and Change Notes.
• Ensure all design activity is carried out to company procedures or overriding customer requirements.
