Your tasks
• In this future-oriented role, act as a discipline expert for instrumentation and automation incl. emergency shutdown (ESD) systems in growth and strategic projects (including end-of-life replacement strategies), both locally and internationally.
• Manage instrumentation & automation in refineries, terminals, and pipelines, ensuring compliance with standards and OMV best practices.
• Make critical technical decisions in international projects, including approval/rejection of deviations.
• Provide expertise, leadership, and coaching internationally, contributing to business strategy.
• Ensure efficient instrumentation & automation design, adhering to relevant safety standards like IEC/EN 61508 or IEC/EN 61511.
• Optimize resource utilization, including budget compliance and tracking KPIs.
