Astral is a leading South African integrated poultry producer of whom National Chicks is a subsidiary, has a vacancy for a Payroll and Benefits Co-Ordinator in Camperdown KZN.
Role Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) or relevant qualification;

A minimum of 5 years payroll experience;

Bookkeeping experience would be an added advantage;

Strong computer skills with advanced MS Excel experience

Skills and Competency Requirements:

Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential

Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

High level of accuracy, time management and attention to detail;

Strong administration and problem-solving skills.

Team Player / dedicated;

Proactive, able to work independently

Must be prepared to work overtime when necessary

Key responsibilities:

Payroll reconciliations to General Ledger

Bonus, Leave provisions

Reconciliation and reviewing of payrolls
