Our client is keen to appoint a temporary Personal Advisor to improve the life chances of young people who have left local authority care, in accordance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee a caseload of care leavers, offering guidance, support, and advice while adhering to the statutory framework for service provision
Assist in developing essential self-care skills.
Develop and implement Pathway Plans tailored to each young person's circumstances, needs, potential, and aspirations
Coordinate statutory reviews of Pathway Plans and revise them as necessary.
Collaborate with care leavers' parents, caregivers, and other significant adults to foster and nurture relationships whenever feasible
Prioritise listening to and considering the perspectives and desires of young people, utilising a person-centered approach in all interactions
Act as an advocate for care leavers
Engage individuals in educational, training, and employment opportunities
