Opportunity

BASIC FUNCTION:
• Execute VAVE Design Projects following the Exit Gate process.
• Work with cross functional teams (Internal and External) in product development.

Specific Responsibilities
• Identify cost reduction opportunities through competitor benchmarking, tear down exercise, Opportunity programs etc.
• Understand the product functionality and prepare alternate design concept models.
• Prepare detailed Concept model and drawing using Creo software.
• Coordinate the development and verification testing of modified designs.
• Create BOMs, Engineering change requests and release the revised designs in Windchill database and SAP.
• Work with cross function team and make sure the product changes are in line with the codes and standards and customer value proposition.
• Document all the activities as per ISO requirements and report to the Stake holders on recommended frequency.
