We are looking for a dog savvy mature couple with references who would LOVE and care for our lovely Lucia this coming winter mid Dec to the beginning of March. Lucia is a six year old well behaved sweet Golden Retriever. We are located in mid Vancouver Island in Yellow Point 25 min each way to a Nanaimo or Ladysmith. Our one level easy to maintain home is situated on Quennell Lake. As we are away during Jan and Feb so some snow shovelling and light house maintenance may be required if necessary ( we have a light eco friendly battery operated snow blower) along with regular hot tub maintenance should you want to use the tub. Our main concern is that Lucia is well loved and cared for so we can enjoy our holiday without worrying about her. We do have a car with dog kennel to use if needed when transporting her for walks etc. Our local grocery store, restaurant, coffee shop, restaurant and two pubs are just minutes away. One well behaved dog could be considered. More Detail
