Providence, RIGENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Within the Department of Administration (DOA), to be responsible for the oversight of design and construction, program development, or organizational improvement projects from their budgeting inception through closeout; to coordinate such projects with other state government agencies to ensure their professional and operational needs are met; to supervise and work with stakeholders, architectural and/or engineering firms, and construction contractors to ensure their work meets the departments’ requirements and program needs; and to do other related work as required.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works under the general direction of a superior with considerable latitude for the exercise of initiative and independent professional judgment; work is reviewed through consultations and written reports for conformance to established policies, regulations, and provisions of law.
