Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to the production of seed potatoes.
The majority of the work activities during the overall contract period, however, will be related to agricultural equipment operation.
Agricultural Equipment Operation duties will include the following: drive, load/unload Ag exempt, non CDL semi/10-wheel trucks and Ag exempt, non CDL 2 or 3 axle trucks; backup trucks in tight maneuvering conditions; climb in and out of tall trucks and various truck beds and/or trailers several times a day; maintain, drive, attach and operate farm implements/tractors/equipment to till soil, plant, cultivate, fertilize and harvest crops; operate tractors/trucks to load/unload product; haul product to/from cellars or storage to various fields located on the farm; communicate by use of hand signals for start, stop, speed up or slow down, etc.; place/remove truck tarps; secure load; inspect load to ensure safety and security; perform small repairs and conduct...
