We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to work in a permanent position for one of our clients in Georgetown, Guyana:

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of transportation and logistics/cargo operations.

Logistics experience with focus on Vessel Agency, Brokerage, Port operations, Work permit is needed or preferred. Knowledge of logistics in the Oil and Gas energy industry.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the operations team working in TIS to close files in real time for invoicing
• Assist Country Manager with Tender submissions and BD initiatives
• Manage a 24/7 team
• Develop and implement operational strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize costs
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including safety standards, environmental regulations, and transportation laws.
