About The Role

This is a permanent, full-time position working 38 hours per week as per the roster. This position is based out of the Nowra Administration Building.

Duties

Reporting directly to the Lead – Ranger Services, the focus of this position is to:
• Network with partner agencies and stakeholders to build relationships, identify opportunities, and coordinate preventative and proactive projects specific to illegal waste.
• Identify and apply for funding grants to combat illegal dumping.
• Patrol the Shoalhaven to detect and deter illegal or unauthorised activities, which includes protection of Council assets and the environment.
