Geology Technician

Northern Star Resources have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Geology Technician.

This opportunity is offered as residential in the Goldfields working a family friendly roster of 8/6, 11-hour days.

The successful candidate will assist in the collection and processing of geological samples to ensure the provision of timely and accurate data for subsequent analysis by Geologists.

Typical Tasks:
• Assist Geologists with the timely collection of Face/Grab samples.
• Assist with geological mapping of faces and underground drives.
• Assist with Drilling Activities, Inspections, audits, and site checks.
• Appropriate QAQC samples are included in all submissions.
• Sample submissions are completed in a timely manner with no errors.
• Transportation of samples.
• Metre marking, photographing, cutting and sample collection of diamond core is completed in a timely manner and is in line with core processing priorities.
