Houma, LALocal law office searching for legal secretary in the Houma area! This is a full time, long-term position.
Job duties include but are not limited to: Answering phones Scheduling client appointments Assisting with legal administrative assistant work Assisting with transcribing correspondence and pleadings Scanning, faxing, copying Handle incoming and outgoing mail Open new client files & prepare initial correspondence and pleadings Other duties as needed Qualifications: High school diploma Two years + clerical experience in an office setting, with experience in the legal field preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain client confidentiality Be dependable and reliable Ability to pay attention to detail and keep deadlines More Detail
