Job Description
• Streamline and enhance the procurement process for components with our suppliers, from supplier value addition to the point of use in the plant (both physical and information flows), incorporating logistics solutions, batch sizes, lead times, packaging, analysis, component stocking policies, and consignment stock.
• Manage supplier forecasts and ensure their accuracy.
• Oversee and enhance Supply Chain performance.
• Expand the base of local suppliers, focusing on improvement tools and competencies in Material Management.
• Employ a continuous improvement approach.
• Lead the containment, corrective, and preventive actions to address Supply Chain issues at the plant.
• Implement supplier management rules and principles, including audits, contract negotiations, and logistics terms & conditions.
