Job Summary

The Newsroom Director is a mid-level management role reporting directly to the Executive Producer of ZIZ Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC). In this role, the incumbent is responsible for managing the production and on-air anchoring of newscasts and public affairs programs. The Newsroom Director directs the assignment of coverage for news stories and covers and prepares them for broadcast on both television and radio.

Responsibilities
• Assign coverage of news/features, as assigned, with some depth and analysis;
• Provides editorial decision-making and guidance to ensure compliance and accuracy, and that deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment;
• Direct live and pre-recorded programs or inserts, from the studio or on location for all of the programs within the transmission portfolio;
