• Make inspection schedules for all machines, ensuring that they are completed regularly and recorded, carrying out preventive maintenance in accordance with the applicable procedures.
• Receive reports from the Production Supervisor regarding changes, faults and breakdowns that may occur. Carry out corrective maintenance in accordance with appropriate procedures and in coordination with the Assistant Engineering Manager / Engineering Manager.
• Carry out physical inspection of all equipment at regular intervals to ascertain their condition and proper usage.
• Understand all the manufacturers’ literature and organize a record system for ease of reference to operation, maintenance and spare parts manuals.
• Ensure that a sufficient stock of spare parts are stored, following the purchasing procedure where required.
