Purpose of the Job

We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our Conservation and Housekeeping Team as a housekeeper for our visitor areas.

Working in a heritage attraction with incredible history, you will help to maintain our 100% score on hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Castle Rooms, Exhibitions, Church, grounds, and amenities, helping to ensure the visitor experience is pleasant and safe.

You will work with colleagues to monitor and report on conservation issues.

Team Leader – Conservation and Housekeeping

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Cleaning of all visitor areas including WCs, Exhibitions, Castle Rooms, Church, and grounds
• Empty visitor bins and pick up litter around grounds
• Maintain cleanliness of signage and sculptures around grounds
• Observe and maintain stock/equipment levels
• Clean estate offices weekly
