Essential Functions: 1. Create firmware specs, design architecture, and development of code 2. Prepare data, handshake, and acknowledge frame format for different communication protocols.

3. Support in the hardware design required for different communication modules like UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, EtherCAT, etc

4. Design, develop, and implement embedded system firmware using 'Embedded C'

Secondary Functions: 1. Specify and implement microprocessor/controller and support hardware

2. Participate in subsystem and system-level design verification planning and testing
