Our client is a well-known State Government agency who are passionate about making NSW a better place to live, work and visit. An exciting opportunity now exists for an Earthmoving Plant Operator to join their dynamic team!

The Role
• The primary purpose of this role is to operates large/complex plant items to support the efficient construction and maintenance of road infrastructure.
• Conduct safety checks on all plant used, complete basic maintenance such as refuelling and check the fluid maintenance records and reports to ensure the safe use of plant items.
• Solve routine problems that arise, refer to standard guidelines and manuals, and collaborate with supervisors and managers to resolve complex issues to minimise risks and achieve work goals.
• Understand, maintain and apply knowledge of WHS legislation, policies and procedures, assessing and controlling risks, record management and industry requirements to minimise risk and model safe work
