Job Description:

Skills: 1. Fitters need manual dexterity to operate the various hand tools and power tools – hammers, drills, saws, etc.

2. Mechanical skills to understand which tools to use and how to use them.

3. Problem solvers with strong attention to detail.

4. Solving and repairing system issues using problem-solving skills.

5. Welding components out of raw metals. 6. Collaborating with other fitters on larger projects.

7. Be physically fit and healthy for work. Job Responsibility:

1. Carrying preventative maintenance schedule and servicing of all plant Machinery & Equipment.

2. Responsible for all tools and ensure no tools are left in production areas.

3. Repair of plant machinery and replacement parts when necessary

. 4. Handling breakdown and getting the plant running in the shortest possible time. 5

. Stock control of all relevant consumables

6. Planning and execution of project work at plant.

7. General maintenance of unused machines.
