The MMF seeks to fill one full-time Métis Community Justice Worker position within our Métis Justice Institute Department located at the MMF Thompson Regional Office in Thompson, MB.

Reporting to the Métis Justice Institute Director, this position will be responsible for the delivery of a community-based alternative for court proceedings by receiving diversions from the Manitoba Justice Prosecutions.

Job Duties / Competencies :
• Assist community to develop and implement justice initiatives;
• Attend court sittings as required to assist clients with court appearances on program progress and completion;
• Screen case files and accept case referrals;
• Maintain proper case files and fulfill reporting requirements;
• Assist in program evaluation and research analysis;
