**Job Description**:
• *GENERAL SUMMARY**
• *PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)**
- Document mechanical designs for AC service products.
- Coordinate regular audits and documentation required to achieve and maintain product certifications (UL, CE, etc.)
- Create test plans and reports to validate design concepts.
- Create, monitor, and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s) for product design updates and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues to assist with reducing warranty costs.
- Bring knowledge of local manufacturing process into design process to ensure proper design for manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Perform design analysis and FMEA‘s on system designs to assure form, fit, function, and safety as well as provide design expertise for process FMEA’s.
- Represent the Design Engineering Team with professionalism and integrity when communicating with the Customer, Cross Functional Teams and the entire organization.
