We are looking for a Principal Bridge Engineer to join a leading design consultancy based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will undertake the design of bridges, retaining walls and other civil structures for various design phases such as concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed design. The ideal candidate will be specifically working on Network Rail projects, mostly on bridges but can include other rail structures like stations or temporary works design for a variety of private and government clients.

The job role will include but not be limited to:
Design of civil and structural schemes (bridges)Review and checks of other schemes prepared by others.Carrying out inspections and surveys of structures and preparing reports.Undertaking feasibility / option studies.Provision of site support to contractors.Preparation of project programmes and cost estimates.Supporting with work winning, project management activities and client facing, to ensure project delivery...
