Job SummaryThis is a physician position and is responsible for applying medical knowledge and skills to the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of illnesses for patients within the Heart and Vascular Cardiovascular Medicine specialty at CCAD. This position treats patients directly and/or may make referrals to different members of the health care professional team at CCAD.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Monitors and provides care to patients at CCAD within the Heart and Vascular Cardiovascular Medicine specialty.• Provide care to patients on primary inpatient cardiology service on a rotating schedule among 6 consultants.• Provide care for patients on a consultative service a few weeks a year.• Interpret noninvasive cardiac studies, including transthoracic echocardiography, stress tests, stress echocardiography, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring.• Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography.• Provide outpatient care to patients in cardiology clinic.• Supervise and...
