Introduction

We are seeking a Welder that is cautious and emphasizes safety during all of their workplace activities. who has a steady hand and enough physical strength to manipulate heavy pieces of metal and piping according to the specifications of a blueprint. Highly skilled individual who also has basic understanding of physics and engineering that allows them to complete structurally sound repairs. The individual needs to be a good team player and communicate well with others when collaborating on large-scale projects.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Understand drawings, weld procedure specifications (WPS), safe operating procedures, and other requirements for each task.
• Read WPS and Setup machine settings.
• Do fit-up, cleaning and weld preparations prior to welding.
• Able and willing to learn operation of electrical heating equipment. (Cooper Blankets)
• Perform own interpass weld cleaning.
• Able to periodically weld and pass welder performance qualification tests.
