Overview

The Intern will report to the Technical Advisor - Gender and Respectful Care. Internship is part of the practicum-training period for any student before he/she is regarded as an expert in a particular field. This may only happen when a person has been placed in a controlled agency with lifelike set-ups in order to be able to apply theoretical knowledge acquired through classroom sessions to learn handling difficult tasks and solving problematic situations faced by the people in their real practical life. In other word gain practical experience of putting theories in practices to solving people’s problems. In this regards, the intern will benefit from accumulating practical experience of solving public health problems associated with social inequality norms, particularly social hindrances to women’s and girls accessibility and utilization of RMNCAH services.
