Associate / Senior Associate – Dispute Resolution

Our client, a leading law firm in Mauritius, is looking for a smart and commercially minded practicing barriser with solid experience in dispute resolution to join its team of highly motivated and talented professionals.

To role will require you to:
• have a sound knowledge of commercial and corporate law and be up to date on all core legal developments
• have a sound knowledge on and be able to advise on court, arbitral and related procedures
• analyze legal and commercial issues in detail with the ability to explain relatively complex issues
• handle standard court, arbitral and related procedures under limited or no supervision
• be able to draft affidavits, witness statements and pleadings
• be able to draft and communicate clear instructions and instruction notes to counsel
• be able to advise clients with limited supervision on straightforward matters of contract law and procedure
