Roles and Responsibilities
Planning and Execution of NVH Testing of multi-source components, mass production
vehicles and new models. Assessing the compliance of the models against the regulatory
targets and analysis for variability. Test procedures preparation for the validation of vehicles for NVH and verification of the
vehicles for NVH Benchmarking for competitor models.
VALIDATION OF VEHICLES FOR NVH – Mass Production, New models, Multi-sourcing, Conformity of Production
• Planning testing activities
• Review of standards, procedures
• Ensuring timely calibration and maintenance of equipment
• Participation in New Model ride events/Internal Quality Checks
• Conducting static and dynamic trials as per specifications including parts / sensors installation, data capture and post data analysis
• Noise source path identification using transfer path and contribution study - Sound intensity mapping for engine noise localization
