PREFERRED AGE GROUP FOR THIS VACANCY: 30-45 years old

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Maintenance of the accountant function with regards to all financial aspects within a pressurized department MAIN JOB FUNCTIONS
• Reconcile all GL accounts
• Debtors book:
• Debtors reports to be presented on a weekly and monthly basis
• Creditors book:
• Ensure that all invoices (COS and general expenses) are captured on a monthly basis
• Ensure that the creditors’ clerk reconciles all the books within specified dates
• Ensure cash flow status is maintained
• Proper expense controls are in place
• Proper controls of salaries and wages (employee related matters)
• Month end reporting (forecast and actual)
• Managing 3 staff members

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• 3 - 5 years accounting experience
• Bachelor of Commerce is preferable
• Financial experience in an Automotive Service Centre would be preferable
