Job Description

Lorain County Community College (LCCC) is seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and innovative applicants for an adjunct faculty position within the Division of Engineering, Business, and Information Technologies (EBIT). The Adjunct Fluid Power Instructor will be responsible for, but not limited to, providing mechanical system lectures and labs for a variety of fluid power courses on an as needed basis, primarily TECN 121 Introduction to Fluid Power. Topics of instruction include principles of hydraulics and pneumatics, fluid mechanics/dynamics, conventional fluid circuits and fluid power components. Emphasis on applications, component selection and related mathematics computations. Other fluid power courses the candidate would have opportunities to teach as needed include Fluid Power Control Systems, Hydraulic Components and Circuits and, Piping Systems and Codes.
