A generous remuneration package is on offer plus special remuneration for after hours service.Hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to weekends.

After hours divided between 3 doctors.Gympie is about two and a half hours (160 kms) drive north of Brisbane and one and a half hours drive south of Hervey Bay.

The Gympie region has a population of about 48,000 people. Gympie has a very good hospital with visiting specialists, allied health, community health and several other services, dental clinic and mental health clinic.

There is private hospital with two theatres and several visiting specialists. Gympie also has a two local pathology services, tworadiology and nuclear medicine services.
