The Continuous Shift Scientist role at Pathology Queensland Redcliffe Laboratory is a critical position. This role will ensure the provision of essential pathology services around the clock. As a member of the laboratory team, individuals in this role are responsible for delivering a comprehensive pathology service to both Redcliffe Hospital and Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS). The position encompasses the areas of core laboratory including Chemical Pathology, Haematology/Coagulation, Transfusion and basic Microbiology, and the role requires full participation in a continuous shift roster.

Work cooperatively and communicate effectively within the team and with clients, both internal and external to the laboratory.
Participate in continuous shift scientific rostering at the Redcliffe laboratory, performing simple to complex investigations, in each of the disciplines for which the Laboratory is responsible in support of Redcliffe Hospital.
