Responsibilities

As the Junior Plant Operator, you will be responsible to operate and maintain equipment in a coal washing plant to ensure efficient processing and production of clean coal. Monitor plant operations, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to safety and environmental regulations. Key responsibilities:
• Operate and control equipment such as crushers, screens, cyclones, centrifuges, and conveyors to process coal through washing, separation, and dewatering stages
• Monitor plant operations using control systems and instrumentation to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance
• Adjust equipment settings and operating parameters as needed to meet production targets and quality specifications
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to identify and address mechanical issues and minimize downtime
