We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Safety Health and Environmental Officer based at our Appley Bridge Site. The successful candidate will oversee the Health Safety and Environmental activities at the Site.

We are looking for a proactive, process driven and highly organised candidate, who can demonstrate experience within a similar role, or has some experience within a factory/warehouse environment in an administrative/compliance role.

Employment type – Full time and permanent.

Probation – 6 months.

Qualification/Skills
• IOSH Working Safely
• Risk Assessment Experience
• NEBOSH National certificate
• NEBOSH General Environmental Certificate
• National Compliance and Risk Qualifications (NCRQ)
• To be able to prioritise workload.
• Effective organisational skill
• Problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Confidence to deal with people at all levels.
• Good attention to detail with a practical “Can do” attitude.
