Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

 Ensure all safety rules and regulations are applied.

 Conduct safety talks.

 Conduct toolbox checks.

 Ensure good housekeeping practices in workshops

 Ensure Quality of workmanship

 Distribute allocation of jobs to the fitters and turners and handyman.

 Monitor progress and quality of jobs.

 Coaching of all reportees.

 Ensure documentation of modifications is correct.

 Do turning/fitting jobs when required.

 Order spares.

 Plan the servicing of equipment.

 Monitor and resolve problems with machine.

 Record equipment reading.

 Implement effective maintenance on plant.

 Ensure alternate use of service plant machines.

 Ensure good housekeeping maintained.

 Monitor costs daily.

 Make suggestions to reduce costs.

 Monitor and pick up trend and spares in use.

 Monitor trends in deviations from maintenance.

 Ensure retention of ISO9002.
