SUMMARY :

Our client in the Petroleum Industry is looking to hire a detailed orientated Assistant Bookkeeper to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO :

Minimum requirements :
• Grade 12 / N3 qualification required
• Higher qualification within Bookkeeping will be beneficial
• Must be able to work up to Trial Balance
• Minimum of 2-4 years basic Bookkeeping experience will be highly advantageous
• Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficient use of English language is required

Daily responsibilities will include :
• Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
• Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
• Bringing the books to the trial balance stage
• Perform partial checks of the posting process
