Purpose of the job / Position description

The Plant Manager will lead a site with :175 employees. As a key member of the operations leadership team, the Plant Manager and his/her team have the responsibility for occupational health and safety leadership, the manufacturing footprint and equipment platform recommendations to support the business strategy, the assessment of equipment and assets, capacity utilization to optimize the investments and to meet customer needs, capital expenditure recommendations to support the strategy, process excellence establishment across the site. The Plant Manager will need to drive major continuous improvement programs across the site to improve manufacturing performance. The Plant Manager should focus on ingraining the continuous improvement and operational excellence mindset into the team and culture of the operations
