Agribusiness & Farming Farmer / Farm Hand WA Other Casual An irrigated turf farm on the banks of the Ord River at Kununurra has a position available for a Machinery Operator to join their farm team.

The farm is in growth phase to meet increasing residential and commercial demand for turf in northern WA due to the expansion of local agriculture, tourism, and mining.

Reporting to the farm manager, your duties vary day-to-day with the demands of the season and include pre-starting and operating a variety of Ag machines to prepare soil, plant, spray, fertilise, mow, harvest, pack, and load turf for delivery. Additionally, you will carry out irrigation, mechanical and general farm maintenance to ensure safe and effective functioning of the farm, and record keeping.
