Applications are invited for the regular position of part-time Employment Consultant in the Community Employment Services department. The starting salary is $33.28/hr for a 24-hour work week. Additional hours may be required at peak times during the year.

Reporting to the Manager, Community Employment Programs, the incumbent provides job placement and job retention services for Employment Ontario's, Employment Services program. The incumbent meets with clients and employers to discuss potential job vacancies, training needs, and matches skills of clients with the needs of the employer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Meets individually with unemployed clients to determine skills, strengths, needs and barriers which may be preventing clients from obtaining suitable and sustainable employment
