Cover Supervisor Job Description

Location:

East Midlands, Leicestershire, Melton Mowbray

Job Type:

Temporary, Part-Time

Salary:

£90 - £120 Per day

Job Duties:

Supervise students in the absence of a teacher

Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment

Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher

Assist students with their work and provide general support

Report back on student behaviour and any issues to the appropriate staff

Required Qualifications:

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Previous experience working with children or young people

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and follow instructions

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong communication skills
