Job Summary:

The Senior Buyer plays a critical role in ensuring that the manufacturing business has a reliable supply chain in place to support production activities while effectively managing costs and maintaining quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:
• Identifying potential suppliers for raw materials, components, and services needed for manufacturing as well as indirect spend related to maintenance, repairs and operations. Negotiating contracts and terms with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality. Adherence to the manufacturing schedule, issuing purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Analyzing costs associated with materials and services and implementing strategies to optimize spending while maintaining quality standards. This may involve negotiating prices, finding alternative suppliers, or implementing cost-saving initiatives
